Welcome to the story of Kaleo & Sonia, a tale of love, laughter, and the unlikeliest of beginnings.
Kaleo Cambra, originally from the lush and sunny shores of Hawaii, moved to Poland in 2019 to embark on a new chapter in life. With a deep passion for golf and a heart as warm as the Hawaiian sun, Kaleo found himself adapting to a life far from home but still anchored in what he loved.
Sonia, a proud Polish rooted woman with ties to the golf world, was carving her own path in life, with a huge heart, never ending kindness, and an unshakable compassion for everything—even, as Kaleo puts it, a fly with no wings. (Yes, she truly cares about everything that much!)
Their paths first crossed in 2022 at Black Water Links Golf Course. Back then, they were just two individuals with lives heading in seemingly different directions. But fate, as it often does, had other plans. The golf course became their shared stage, a place where casual conversations turned into genuine connections.
Over time, the spark between them grew—subtle at first, but undeniable. Golf may have brought them together, but it was their shared moments, humors conversations, and deep respect for each other that laid the foundation for something extraordinary.
It wasn’t easy. Kaleo and Sonia come from two different worlds—different cultures, beliefs, and life experiences. But through every twist and turn, their bond only grew stronger.
For Kaleo, Sonia’s compassion was nothing short of breathtaking. Her kindness wasn’t just directed at him, but extended to everyone and everything around her, including his daughter Kamalei. The way Sonia effortlessly embraced Kamalei with love and care sealed Kaleo’s belief that Sonia was truly "the one."
And Sonia? She found in Kaleo a man who not only cherished her but also stood beside her through life’s challenges, growing together in strength and love.
Their relationship has been a testament to resilience, understanding, and an unshakable commitment to each other—even when the odds seemed tough.
Fast forward to today, and here they are, ready to celebrate their love with all of you.
On September 12, 2025, they will take the next step in their journey together, surrounded by the people they love most. They’re beyond grateful for the family and friends who have supported their journey, cheered for them during the good times, and stood by them during the tough ones.
